Camilla Lau is a multi-disciplinary designer based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. She has worked around the world as both an in-house and agency-side designer for numerous commercial and lifestyle brands. Now back home, Camilla loves applying her experiences travelling to the world of books and collaborating with the team at HUIA.

Judges’ comments Camilla Lau’s portfolio showed us confident, lively, yet thoughtful designs for Huia Publishers, with clear care for each book’s narrative and an admirably fearless approach to illustration, lettering, and typography.
