Judges’ Comments Josh’s Backyard BBQ is a fabulous example of highly functional cookbook design. The judges were impressed with the considered information design evident in this book. It’s unrelentingly practical, with a no-nonsense approach to layout that makes following a recipe a breeze. The typographic choices are robust and assured. Judges felt the cover could have pushed the envelope a little more, but overall this was a strong cookbook
