Judges’ comments A suitably comprehensive survey of an important Aotearoa painter. The design strikes a crucial balance between details like metallic foil, debossed linen paper, contrasting head and tailbands, and spatial and typographic restraint that lets the glorious colours in the artworks do the talking.
