Sam Bunny
 | Sam Bunny graduated from the Eastern Institute of Technology in Hawke’s Bay with a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design. He then moved to Wellington where he was involved in web design and development at Capiche Design. Bunny is now a design executive at Huia Publishers working on a broad range of projects that involve branding, art direction, content sourcing and project management. He currently spends much of his free time learning more about typography, hand-lettering and developing his own typefaces. |
| Judges’ Comments Sam Bunny’s work shows a wonderful range of striking design, enlightening and transcending often challenging categories. He has a keen eye for the idea and its visual impact, and a beguiling attention to detail –nothing is out of place. Bunny brings a contemporary approach to the cultural matter he deals with, which further endears him in the eyes of the judges. |
