Publisher’s Brief
“The brief was for a contemporary medium-sized fully illustrated art book, with appeal to the general reader. It needed to feel like a beautiful scholarly text and be visually clear that it was a book for reading as well as viewing. It requested a coherent, elegant design to pull together the diverse selection of images and their huge visual range, within the complex structure of the book across its multiple contributors.”
