“We wanted to create a warm and friendly book for kids ages 2-4 years that introduces them to some of the many animals that live in artworks at Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū.

The design needed to be light and bright, and to respectfully prioritise the artists and artworks through the use of space, colour and typography. The cover has an ‘heirloom’ vibe that makes the book feel like a treasured object.”
