Judges’ comments There is an excellent balance between the fluorescent cover design and the content inside. We enjoyed the juxtaposition of the native birds and the Covid virus in the decorative endpaper. Snippets and micro-stories are nicely separated by large artist names on the multi-coloured background pages. There are a nice mix of different graphic styles that are unified by the book’s bold design.
